James W.
Case, 66, of Elizabethtown, passed away
Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Hardin Memorial
Hospital.
He was a native of Louisville and a
Vietnam veteran, having served as a
military police officer in the U.S. Army. He
retired from Cook Airtomic.
He spent many years as a football
coach for St. Stephen Martyr and as a
baseball coach in the Germantown Baseball
League.
He was a lead guitar player for the
Rock-Ola-Revue Band for 18 years and a
proud father and grandfather who loved UK
Basketball. He was preceded
in death by his parents, William Kenneth and
Catherine Irene Lafollette Case.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years,
Lucille Case; three sons, Andy Case, Joe (Kim)
Case, all of Elizabethtown, and Jason Case of
Louisville; four brothers, Roger Case, Kenny
Case, Tom Case and Rick Case, all of
Louisville; three grandchildren, Morgan
Dalton, Adam Case and Emma Case; and many
beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service is at noon Friday in the
Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff
with the Rev. Kaye Nunn officiating.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and
continues at 9 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral
Home in Elizabethtown.
