Cheryl Alexander

Cheryl Alexander, 57, of Soldiers Grove, passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 16, 1958 in Richland Center to  Myral and Harlean (Applebee) Miller.  She married the love of her life, Leslie Alexander, on April 17, 1978. He preceded her in death in 2008. She liked to sew, quilt, collect and restore sewing machines. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who always put a smile on her face.

She is survived by 1 son:  John (Heather) Alexander of Soldiers Grove, 3 stepsons:  Tim (Courtney)  Alexander of Viroqua, Shane Alexander of Whitney, Texas, and Leslie Michael (Kristina) Alexander of  Aquilla, Texas; 2 daughters:  Teresa (Craig) Royce of Dodgeville, and Christen (Brian) Barlow of Soldiers Grove; 18 grandchildren; her parents:  Myral and Harlean Miller of Janesville; 3 brothers:  Michael (Norine) Miller of Janesville, Roy Miller of Elkhorn, and Maynard Miller of Janesville; and 4 sisters:  Kathie Miller of Janesville, Gail (James) Miller of Huntington, Indiana, Marion (Joel) McIntyre of Beloit, and Chris (Dan) Rademacher of Janesville.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at 1 PM at Sime Funeral Home in Readstown. Pastor Lance Lorenz will officiate and burial will be in the North Clayton Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM, and on Tuesday from noon until time of services.   Online condolences may be sent to simefuneralforum.com.
