Patsy Ann Malett
SHAMOKIN —
Patsy Ann Malett, 66, of 635 S. Market
St., passed away at her residence on
Tuesday, May 14, 2013, with her family
by her side. Her faith in God and love
of her family helped her endure a
16-month battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 8, 1946, in Trevorton, she
was a daughter of the late Leon E. and
Dorothy Lebo.
She attended Trevorton Elementary
School and Shamokin Area High School.
On July 25, 1963, she married Harold
Malett, who survives.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother. She loved family
gatherings and was the organizer of
many family picnics and reunions. Some
of her hobbies included gardening,
reading, listening to music and
walking her dogs. She will be greatly
missed by all those whose lives she
touched.
In addition to her husband, she is
survived by five children, Bernard
Malett and his wife, Jeannie, of
Elysburg, Leon Malett and his wife,
Shirl, of Coal Township, Terry Malett,
of Shamokin, Melissa Dressler and her
husband, Charles, of Coal Township,
and Valerie Malett, of Shamokin; seven
grandchildren, Janessa Malett, Zachary
Malett, Nathan Malett, Rebecca
Dressler, Stephanie Dressler, Lindsay
Mincemoyer and Eric Mincemoyer; four
sisters, Karen Adams, of Shamokin,
Virginia Erdman, of Hegins, Dianne
Campbell, of Harrisburg, and Barbara
Swank, of Shamokin; three brothers,
Leon E. Lebo Jr., of Shamokin, Melvin
Lebo, of Northampton, and Leroy Lebo,
of Shamokin, and many nieces and
nephews.
Patsy's stunning eyes will be donated
to the Northeast PA Lions Eye Bank, of
Bethlehem.

MALETT — Patsy Ann Malett, 66, of 635
S. Market St., Shamokin. At the
request of Patsy, there will be no
viewing or funeral service.
Arrangements are being handled by the
Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395
State St., Sunbury. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions can be
made to Cancer Care of Central PA, 75
Medical Park Drive, Lewisburg 17837,
or the Visiting Nurses Association, 21
W. Independence St., Shamokin 17872.
