Sets your general preferences... scroll buffer size ( amount of chat lines your pirch98 allows you to scroll back before erasing the excess ) etc.

Recommendations :

Check Private Notice Designation to Active Window
Check Use Dedicated Message Window
Check Suppress Message Interupt (*Note – this will keep any new message windows that popup from interfering with what you are typing).

Another preference that you may want to adjust to your liking is the Colors Pirch uses for parts, joins, notes, etc.

Click Options / Colors / then choose the item on the left, and pick your color.
example : I have my joins as green, and my parts as brown; this way I don’t get confused if someone is going or coming.
