PIRCH includes a set of features which allow you to customize the client and automatically react to a variety of events that occur on IRC, such as people joining and leaving the room you are on.
Your events file is the brains of your pirch98. It can control file-sends, automate actions and a whole host of other applications. ( make sure this file is activated for the events to work ). |

Events are presented in a specific format... * The activation line: ON NOTICE:, ON SOUND:#:, ON TEXT:(word): etc. followed by the action command. Examples: ON TEXT:chat:#:Visit Chattacomb at http://www.chattacomb.net This event as indicated prompts your pirch98
to supply the
whenever the word "chat" is entered into a chat
room by another chatter. ON JOINED:#:/me waves to everyone in the room ! Hi !!! This event will display the message whenever YOU enter a room.
