Aliases are simply custom commands or macros that you can define for
PIRCH.
Aliases take one of two forms ... they can either be in text form, put there to avoid repeatedly having to type the same thing or they can be artistic in nature, colours, sounds and the like. |

A: Right mouse button and then "Add Alias". Choose a name for your alias. |

To activate your alias type /alias-name ( forward slash followed by the name of your alias ) in your chat screen. |
| Font Commands: CTRL + B : Changes the text to bold. CTRL + I : Changes the font to Italic. CTRL + U : Underlines text. CTRL + F : Fixed Pitch Font Control (Use this at the beginning of each row if your text looks crushed when played). CTRL + S + <ALT+Four Digits>: supplies a symbol... CTRL + S + <ALT+0169> = |

| Other useful alias commands... /me ... your nickname is inserted when this is inserted in FRONT of a sentence ( otherwise called an ACTION ). $me ... your nickname is inserted where this is placed in the BODY of the alias. $time ... inserts your current TIME into the alias. $date ... inserts the DATE into your alias. $day ... inserts the DAY in your alias by name. Other useful tools are available in your pirch98 HELP file.
How to "steal" an alias from the chat screen :-) 1.Place your mouse pointer at beginning of the popup you want to copy off of the screen... left click and drag hilighting the entire popup(when you
release hilight will disappear) * I normally copy the line above and below and erase it after I paste it to aliases. |
